Uncover insights from the assistants buyers actually open

We write questions from your site, then ask them for real. This check samples one surface. The product covers five assistants: ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, Perplexity and DeepSeek.

  • Google AI

What this free check does

The form above reads a public page of your site, writes buyer questions from it, asks the first few on one assistant surface, and counts who is named. No account and no card. Here is what that report is, and what it is not.

How it works

You enter a work email and a website. Disposable addresses are refused. The same site can be checked once per calendar quarter. The same email, and the same connection, can run one successful check per month, and at most two attempts a day from the same address.

  1. We read a public page: title, meta, headings, plus robots.txt, sitemap.xml and llms.txt when they exist. If the site blocks automated visits, the check continues from what the assistant already knows about the brand, and the report says so.
  2. We write buyer-intent questions from what that page sells, in the language of the market we detect. Most are unbranded ("best X for Y"). A separate question asks who you are by name, so we can see how you are described.
  3. We ask the first few questions for real on one assistant surface, then count who each answer names. Branded questions are shown but left out of the visibility rate, because a question that already contains your name will name you. We also check the claims in the "who are you" answer against your home page.

What your report shows

The report is a snapshot: a handful of buyer questions, one run, one surface, with the date it was taken. AI answers change from one run to the next, so read the figures as a first pass, not a verdict.

If your site gave us little to read, the report says to treat it as a rough first pass. If the assistant was too slow or did not answer, mention figures stay empty and the written questions remain. A previous result can also come back when a new check is refused because you already used the quarter or month limit.

  • A GEO score out of 100. About 70% comes from what the answers said (named, recommended, cited, share of voice, accuracy). About 30% comes from whether the home page lets assistants say more (crawlers, indexation, how much text is readable without JavaScript).
  • How often the answers name you, and how often they recommend you (named in the top three, and not negatively).
  • Citation rate: whether an answer shows a page of your own site as a source.
  • Share of voice: out of every brand named across those answers, the share that was you.
  • Brand accuracy: claims in the "who are you" answer, checked against your home page (correct, imprecise, or incorrect).
  • Who else was named, the questions we asked, and a short list of opportunities (missing from high-intent questions, a rival named more often, blocked crawlers, a thin page).

What the free check does not show

The free check is a sample. It does not replace a repeating baseline.

  • It asks on one surface, once. It does not cover ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, Perplexity and DeepSeek together.
  • It does not repeat the same questions every two weeks, and it does not keep a history you can trend.
  • It reads one public page, not your whole site.
  • It does not let you edit the prompt set or pick assistants.
  • If the assistant is too slow or does not answer, the report says so and the mention figures stay empty. Your themes and the written questions are still there.

Free check versus ongoing tracking

Ongoing tracking is the same job, repeated. Sauror measures whether ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI (AI Overviews and AI Mode) and DeepSeek name a brand, every two weeks, from the answers as users see them in the assistants' interface. Claude and Grok are optional. Track is 10 EUR the first month, then 60 EUR per month, excluding VAT.

What to do if AI does not mention you

Absence on one run is common. Answers vary, and a single surface is not the market. Still, a report that never names you is a useful starting point.

First, read What is GEO if the term is new: the job is to be named in the answer, not only ranked on a results page.

Then follow GEO for SaaS: write 20 to 30 buyer prompts, fix the pages assistants quote (pricing, integrations, comparisons, docs, security), earn mentions on the third-party pages your answers already cite, and let AI crawlers read your HTML.

Look at who was named instead of you, and at the sources under those answers. Those domains are the comparison pages, reviews and roundups the assistant already trusts for your category. Being accurately present there is often the next job, before another homepage rewrite.

Is the AI visibility checker free?

Yes. You enter a work email and a website. No account and no card. Disposable emails are refused. The same site can be checked once per quarter; the same email once a month.

Which assistant does the free check ask?

One assistant surface, one run. The report names that surface. Ongoing tracking covers ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, Perplexity and DeepSeek, every two weeks.

What does the report count?

Who each answer names, whether you were recommended, whether your own site was cited, share of voice among the brands named, and whether the "who are you" answer matches your home page.

Why was I not named?

A single run is a snapshot, and answers vary. Read What is GEO and GEO for SaaS for the pages and prompts that usually move a shortlist.

Where do I read how ongoing tracking works?

The documentation explains how every figure on the dashboard is counted. Start with How it works and Plans.
