Sauror AI documentation

Sauror AI is a GEO (generative engine optimization) software that measures whether AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Google AI, Gemini and Perplexity name and cite your brand when your buyers ask them questions.

What Sauror AI shows

Sauror AI (sauror.com) is a SaaS made by Marc Hemat, trading as Sauror (France). The app runs at app.sauror.com.

For the questions (prompts) your buyers ask, Sauror AI shows:

  • whether AI assistants name your brand, and how often;
  • which competitors they name instead of you or next to you;
  • which sources (web pages) they cite.

Collection

Collection is automated. There is nothing to install: no browser extension and no Chrome extension. Measurement runs every two weeks. Each prompt is asked 3 times per assistant at each collection.

The two parts of the app

The app has two parts:

  • Measure: "Overview", "Sources", "Prompts".
  • Act: "Next moves" (the next actions to improve your GEO), "Content gaps" (why a competitor is mentioned and you are not), "My pages" (your site pages and how they perform), "Content" (content created for GEO).

The "Overview" screen

The "Overview" screen shows:

  • "Visibility": the share of analysed answers that name you.
  • "Share of voice".
  • "Positioning": your rank among the brands that are named.
  • Time ranges "30d", "90d" and "6M", plus "Export" and "Share" buttons.
  • A chart of brand ranks over time, a "Right now" ranking of the top brands, and a "Visibility ranking" table.
