How Sauror AI measures AI visibility
Sauror AI asks the questions your buyers ask to AI assistants every two weeks, then records which brands each answer names and which sources it cites.
How it works
- You track a list of questions (prompts). See Prompts and visibility.
- You choose the assistants to ask, in "Settings" → "Assistants". See Assistants tracked.
- Every two weeks, Sauror AI asks every question to every selected assistant, 3 times per assistant. Collection is automated, nothing to install.
- For each answer, Sauror AI records the brands named, their order, and the sources cited.
- The results show up in "Overview", "Prompts" and "Sources".
Cadence and controls
- Measurement runs every two weeks.
- Tracking can be paused and resumed. When it is paused, the app shows "Tracking paused" and a "Resume tracking" button.
- Collections run on their own: there is no button to start one.
- Changes to the assistants apply from the next collection.
Metrics
- "Visibility": answers that name you, out of the answers analysed, as a %.
- "Share of voice": a %.
- "Positioning": your rank among the brands that are named.
- Time ranges: "30d", "90d", "6M".
"Visibility ranking"
The "Visibility ranking" table shows the share of answers that name each brand, row by row. Rows can be topics or assistants. The table has two menus, "Rows" (for example "Topics") and "Value" (for example "Score"). The columns are your brand and the five rivals the assistants name most.
