Otterly.AI alternatives: which GEO tool should you pick?

Otterly.AI is often the first name you meet when you want to “track your brand in ChatGPT without breaking the bank”. Before you switch, match their public offer to what you actually want to measure — and how often.

What Otterly.AI publishes

On otterly.ai, Otterly.AI presents itself as an AI Search tracking and optimization platform: mentions and citations on ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Copilot, plus Claude, Gemini and Google AI Mode as options.

The pricing grid is clear. Lite: $29/month, 15 prompts, 4 engines (ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot), daily tracking, unlimited team members. Claude, Google AI Mode and Gemini are paid add-ons. Standard: $189/month (100 prompts). Agent Analytics: $489/month (400 prompts). Annual billing takes 15% off (Lite at $25/month). 7-day trial, no card (homepage FAQ).

Their FAQ also explains why a manual test in ChatGPT can disagree with the dashboard: history and location personalize the interface, while Otterly.AI aims for a “neutral” track. That is neither a flaw nor a lie — it is a method, and you need to know it before you compare two numbers.

Otterly.AI still fits if you want few prompts, every day, and no card to try it. Move to Qwairy or Meteoria if volume and agency reporting matter more than the headline price. BotRank.ai publishes the same “real interface” collection idea, but in neutralized sessions — not in your client’s account.

Peec AI targets the same job (prompts, sentiment, share of voice, agencies) on a daily cadence; their pricing was not readable. Dedicated page: Peec AI alternatives. Elmo (elmohq.com): Cloud from $29/month or free self-host — Elmo alternatives. Pushrank (pushrank.io): SEO on autopilot at €89 excl. VAT/month, AI module — Pushrank alternatives.

Sauror AI, a different logic

Sauror AI is GEO software (SaaS) for web agencies and SaaS companies: it measures whether ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity cite a brand, then delivers fixes and content.

Where Otterly.AI publishes daily tracking, Sauror AI asks your questions automatically, three times, every two weeks. ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and DeepSeek are the default pool; Claude and Grok only if you add them. No weekly email report for now.

Track: €60 excl. VAT/month, 25 questions, 2 assistants, 3 users. First month at €10 excl. VAT, card required. Publish and Concierge are not for sale. The free check (Sauror Check) does not open ChatGPT: a server-side surface, a score, three actions.

When to keep Otterly.AI (and skip Sauror AI)

  • 15 prompts a day at $29 is enough, and you want to see movement every morning.
  • You will not give a card for a trial: Otterly.AI advertises 7 days with no card. The Sauror AI trial does not.
  • You want Claude, Gemini or AI Mode on top, right away, even as an add-on: their add-on grid says so. At Sauror AI, Claude and Grok are an assistant choice, not a daily 15-prompt pack.
  • You need an API / MCP / Looker from the Standard plan: Otterly.AI lists them. That is not documented the same way at Sauror AI.

Common questions

Is Otterly.AI available in French?

The public site we read on 8 October 2026 is in English. The tool tracks several countries (they say “50+”). That is not the same thing as a fully French interface.

Why does a manual ChatGPT test not match the Otterly dashboard?

Otterly.AI writes it in its FAQ: the interface remembers your history and your location. Their tracking aims for a neutral session. Two different numbers can both be “true”.

Is Sauror AI cheaper than Otterly.AI?

Lite is $29/month. Track is €60 excl. VAT/month (€10 excl. VAT the first month). It is not the same volume (15 vs 25 questions), nor the same cadence (daily vs every two weeks), nor the same method. Comparing the headline price alone does not say much.

How can you try without paying?

Otterly.AI: 7-day trial with no card, on their site. Sauror AI: Sauror Check with no account, then a first month at 10 €, or a 20-minute demo.
